Montgomery & Co offer a comprehensive range of services covering all aspects of rural property management.
After studying for an Advanced National Certificate of Agriculture Andrew Montgomery settled down in his home county of Northumberland to carry on a long farming family tradition. After a period in the agricultural and animal health businesses he attended the Royal Agricultural College and attained a BSc in Rural Estate Management. From here Andrew returned to Northumberland and qualified as a rural Chartered Surveyor with George F White, dealing mainly with estates, property management and commercial interests. After Northumberland, a long career in Estate Management ensued with some of the most important and historic great estates such as Blenheim Palace in England and Inveraray Castle in Scotland. Andrew retains an interest in the UK and practices in the Isle of Man, where he now lives with his wife Fiona.
After completing an honours degree in Biochemistry, Fiona worked as an estate agent in the south of England with a specific focus on sourcing & selling premier country properties. A career move in to the Finance sector has seen Fiona hold Senior Global Finance and Business Managment roles in a number of investment banks. Fiona holds an MBA from Warwick university and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
